Fatima Hussein Alwan is an enthusiastic Kuwaiti writer and poet, holding a
master's degree in Computer Engineering. She was born in Kuwait in 1974, and is the
second among four siblings. She's married, and is a mother of two boys.
Fatima commenced her writing trek at the age of 12; she wrote many articles, in sport and art, which were published in some local Kuwaiti newspapers and magazines. Her writing style and capabilities were way beyond her small age; a fact that was very conspicuous and highly appreciated by whoever read for her. Fatima's technical specialty didn't hinder her or thwart her from pursuing her true passion, which is English Literature; she's Literaturaholic and dreams of becoming a novelist one day, for she considers fiction her first literary love, notwithstanding her great fondness and devotion for poetry. Fatima has some unfinished attempts in fiction writing, and has released two books of poetry... “A Dreamer's Pulsing Thoughts” and “Poesy Whisperer”, and the third is on its way.
Besides writing, Fatima indulges in reading and listening to easy music. She's besotted with nature, and adores traveling, and discovering new unorthodox places!
